It has been a strange couple of weeks, where we know there is progress, but it has moved indoors. As we don’t hold keys, our after-work trips to the site have mostly involved skulking around and peering in windows 😉
On Friday we finally had a chance to inspect the progress indoors, and it is amazing to see the difference the internal walls make to getting a feel for the actual size of the rooms! Strangely, when the ground was down the house felt tiny. When the external walls were up the indoor space felt a bit bigger but still a bit cramped. Now with the internal walls in it actually feels quite spacious (if not big, exactly!) 🙂
Here are a few panoramic images of the rooms, to view scroll left and right across the image.

- B’s bedroom
Externally, there has been some progress, with a tiny patch of roof tiled, the rest of the tiles piled up ready to go, and the addition of some smart white gable-boards. Hopefully next week should see the rest of the roof tiled, though we look to be waiting longer than that for the external panel to be done!
